What SecureLoop adds

A backup someone actually looks after

A backup can fail quietly: a licence lapses or a new mailbox is never added, and nobody notices until the day it matters. We run the backup platform for you and prove it works.

Managed setup, $190 one-off

We connect your tenant, set the backup policies, run a first test restore and hand over written documentation.

Monthly backup health check

Every month we check the backups are running for every user, and we follow up any failures with you, so problems surface before you need a restore.

Quarterly test restore

Every quarter we restore real data to prove the backup works. Included in the price; the Backup Evidence Pack adds the written evidence.

Local support

A Brisbane-based team you can call when something has been deleted and you need it back today.

Per-user pricing (AUD)

Fixed quote, no hourly billing. Every service has a starting price for a typical small business; after a short scoping call we give you a fixed quote based on your users, devices and systems. That quote doesn’t change unless the scope does.

Everything your team works in

Exchange Online

User, shared, room and group mailboxes: email, calendars, contacts and tasks, plus online archive and Recoverable Items.

OneDrive and OneNote

Every user’s OneDrive files and OneNote notebooks, with version history.

SharePoint

Document and page libraries, lists, subsites and modern pages.

Standard, private and shared channels, and chats including one-to-one chats.

Microsoft 365 Groups and Planner

Group mailboxes, plus plans, buckets, tasks and task comments.

Microsoft 365 Copilot

Identity and configuration recovery

The settings that keep your tenant secure, backed up too

Deleting a Conditional Access policy or wiping an Intune profile can take hours to rebuild by memory. Entra ID and Intune backup is included at no extra cost.

Restore covers users, groups, roles, Conditional Access policies and administrative units, with their memberships and assignments. Everything else is exported with all its settings, so it can be rebuilt exactly.

BitLocker recovery keys can be viewed and downloaded from the backup. They are not restored back into Entra ID.

  • Users, groups, roles and role assignments, and administrative units
  • Conditional Access policies, with their authentication contexts, authentication strengths and named locations
  • Sign-in and audit logs, kept for as long as the backup runs
  • Enterprise applications and app registrations
  • Devices, Intune compliance policies and configuration profiles
  • BitLocker recovery keys for Intune-enrolled devices

Power Platform backup

Your reports, apps and flows

Included at no extra cost. Power BI reports, Power Apps and Power Automate flows are exported in Microsoft’s own formats, ready to re-import; settings and DLP policies are exported as files. It is not an automatic restore. The backup uses a dedicated service account that we set up during onboarding.

Power BI

Workspaces with their reports, dashboards and dataflows.

Power Apps

The apps in each Power Platform environment.

Power Automate

The flows in each environment.

Admin settings

Power Platform tenant settings and data loss prevention (DLP) policies.

The automations we build for you are protected too. See our AI automation work.

Why Microsoft’s recycle bins aren’t a backup

Deleted data has an expiry date

Deleted Exchange Online items are kept for 14 days by default, up to 30 (Microsoft). SharePoint keeps deleted items and sites for 93 days (Microsoft). After that, they are gone.

ASD’s Essentials for cloud asks organisations to back up important data and settings, “implementing customer-controlled backup where provider arrangements are insufficient” (ASD), and to keep backups separate from the production tenant. That is what this service does.

The backup platform

Stored in Australia, kept outside your tenant

Backups are stored in an Australian data region (Sydney). That is data residency, not a sovereign cloud: the storage runs on a US-headquartered cloud provider.

Three backups a day

Automatic, plus on-demand backups when you need one before a big change.

Unlimited retention

Every version kept with no time limit unless you set a retention policy.

Ransomware protection

Detects ransomware activity, runs pre-emptive backups and labels the latest clean recovery points.

Immutable storage

Backups are kept outside your tenant, out of reach of a compromised Microsoft 365 admin account.

SOC 2 Type II platform

AES-256 encryption at rest, with the option to bring your own encryption key.

Standard export formats

PST, MBOX, EML, VCF and ICS, so your data stays portable.

Backup Evidence Pack · from $290 per year

Proof your backups actually restore

Your quarterly test restore, written up as dated evidence and mapped to the Essential Eight's regular backups strategy and the “Regular and proven backups” principle in ASD Essentials. It is suitable to provide to insurers and clients who ask how you protect their data; acceptance is their decision.

Pairs with our ASD Essentials readiness assessment and security audit.

Microsoft 365 backup questions

Doesn’t Microsoft already back up my Microsoft 365 data?

Microsoft keeps deleted data for a limited time only. Deleted Exchange Online items are kept for 14 days by default (up to 30), and SharePoint keeps deleted items and sites for 93 days. After that they are gone. An independent backup keeps copies outside your tenant for as long as you need them, which also protects you from ransomware, a compromised admin account or a bad change.

Is this the same as Office 365 backup?

Yes. Whether your plan is called Office 365 or Microsoft 365, the backup covers the same Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams data.

Can you back up Conditional Access and Intune policies?

Yes. Conditional Access policies, Intune compliance policies and configuration profiles are all backed up. Users, groups, roles, Conditional Access policies and administrative units can be restored with their memberships and assignments. Intune policies, devices and app registrations are exported with all their settings, so they can be rebuilt exactly.

Are BitLocker recovery keys backed up?

Yes, for Intune-enrolled devices. The keys can be viewed and downloaded from the backup for each device. They are not restored back into Entra ID.

Do you back up Power Automate flows and Power BI?

Yes. Power BI reports, Power Apps and Power Automate flows are exported in Microsoft’s own formats, ready to re-import; tenant settings and DLP policies are exported as files. It is not an automatic restore. The backup uses a dedicated service account that we set up during onboarding, and we check that your Microsoft plan includes the licences that account needs.

Will Microsoft’s EWS retirement affect my backup?

Microsoft is retiring Exchange Web Services (EWS) in Exchange Online: phased disablement began on 1 October 2026 and EWS is permanently retired on 1 April 2027. Mailboxes, calendars, contacts and tasks are backed up through Microsoft Graph, so they are not affected. Online archive mailboxes still rely on EWS for now, so we confirm the approach for archives with you during setup, ahead of Microsoft’s 1 April 2027 retirement.

Where is my data stored?

In an Australian data region (Sydney). This is data residency, not a sovereign cloud: the storage runs on a US-headquartered cloud provider. If you need stricter sovereignty, talk to us about bringing your own encryption key.

What does the per-user price include?

All the Microsoft 365 data above, plus Entra ID, Intune and Power Platform backup at no extra cost. Shared mailboxes, SharePoint, Groups and Teams need no extra licences, and backup storage is pooled across your licensed users.

Is there a minimum or a contract?

The minimum is 5 users. Billing is monthly with no lock-in, and your data can be exported in standard formats if you leave.

EWS dates: Microsoft's Exchange Online service description and EWS deprecation notice.
